Julian Viso

VP of Business Development

With more than 30 years of experience in the agricultural industry, Julian joined CIH as a VP of Business Development for the Latin American Group. His career began as an Animal Nutritionist/Buyer in California. He then moved to Mexico to lead Seaboard Corporation commodities trading operation and later to KC to start the Latin American commodities trading operation. After that, Julian joined FCC, now known as StoneX, to create the company's Latin American risk management consulting business becoming one of the company’s top 10 consultants. In 2010, Julian was recruited by Macquarie bank to develop a Fin-Tech platform to assess risk for agricultural commodities. After a sabbatical dedicated to his own business, Julian learned about CIH’s Fin-Tech solutions and joined CIH to develop and promote CIH’s Fin-Tech platform for risk management solutions in Latin America.

Michael Shawver

As Vice President of New Business Development, Mike introduces CIH's software and price management approach to agricultural producers, processors, and end-users throughout the Americas. He currently focuses on expanding CIH's presence in Latin America as well as continuing his pivotal role in developing and maintaining relationships with grain elevators and cooperatives across the US.

Michael joined CIH in 2005 as an account executive responsible for helping feed and livestock producers effectively use futures, options, and other contracting strategies to manage risk and improve net margins. His valuable contributions extend to CIH's comprehensive suite of client tools, as well as the strategic growth of the firm's presence in key sectors such as poultry, dairy, and cattle within the United States as well as Latin America.
