In my many years of working in the dairy industry, I’ve come to appreciate the complexity of the dairy supply chain. I’ve worked with farmers to execute on margin protection plans, class III and class IV plants to manage their price risks, and physical traders to try to generate a positive P&L. I’ve sat in the desk with real price risks, managed physical powder purchases and sales, along with fluid and butter risks of milk processing plants.

Since joining CIH in 2015 I have worked with dairy producers to discuss and address their concerns with managing, identifying and understanding their forward profit margins. CIH works with all levels of experience, for those just getting started to experienced risk managers. CIH will help each dairy identify their unique price risk and build effective long-term goals utilizing our proprietary software and consulting services to customize a plan to help each dairy to take control of their bottom line.

With almost 20 years of experience trading corn options combined with a sales background, I now use the real-world experience to introduce dairy producers to the tools available to protect margins on your farm.
